IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ!

Event Information:
Missouri State University's College of Natural & Applied Sciences will host this year's Region 7 Science Olympiad tournament.  The main events will be held from 8:30 am to 1:20 pm and the awards ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm.   For your information, a List of Events that will be offered at this year's tournament is accessible here.  A Schedule of Events will be made available through this link when it is finalized.  There have been several changes in events for this year as well as some changes in rules.  Please make sure that you are using the 2009 Rule Booklet and please read and follow the rules carefully.   The Coaches' Manual, Rule Booklet and event room assignments will be sent to you after your state and regional registrations have been received.  Room assignment information will also be available via this web site at a subsequent date.

Divisions of Competition:
There are two divisions of competition in this tournament.  Division B is the Junior High (grades 6 - 9) and Division C is for High School (grades 9-12).  Each school can have more than one team entered in a division, but only one team per school can go on to the state competition. The registration is $105 for each team.  If you wish to register additional teams, please feel free to contact your regional director.  Each team must have a sponsor with them the day of the event.   You are also encouraged to bring parent helpers for the middle school teams.

Campus Information:
The Plaster Student Union will be open the day of the event to allow you and your teams to eat on campus.  The Student Union offers a variety of restaurants, including Domino's, Madison Street Grill, and Blimpie's.
