Judge Information

THIS YEAR'S FAIR DATES ARE March 31 - April 2, 2009!

What Does It Take To Be A Judge?

An understanding of the scientific method and a willingness to talk to students about the work they have performed is critical.  You do not have to have a career in science, but a strong interest in the science/math education process and a wish to reinforce the students' pursuit of research and knowledge is necessary.

Interested in chairing your judging committee?  Chair duties include:  meet with and organize members of the judging team; assure that all students in category are equitably judged and no child is excluded; lead discussion to determine placement winners in category; record names of all placement winners, assuring that all names are spelled correctly; and, complete all required paperwork and return all forms to OSEF Judge Coordinator.  If you are interested, click the appropriate button on the Judge Application Form or contact Michelle Norgren.
